Why can’t I tell the restaurant workers that I’m a GingFoodie?

In order to claim money-back, GingFoodies have to fill out a short questionnaire about their experience at the restaurant. Therefore, revealing your identity would cause the worker to treat you unfairly.

My friends want to join GingFood. Are there any requirement?

There are no requirements. We welcome anyone to join our platform. However, GingFoodies with 500 or more real-followers are likely to see more restaurants.

Can I bring my friends to try GingFood together?

Yes, but only GingFoodies will be able to claim the refund.

Are you sharing my personal information?

NO! Your information is only used for our systems internal matching. Others cannot obtain your personal information.

How long does it take to get my money back?

If your submission meets our requirements, we usually pay our foodies within 2 weeks.

Can I use GingFood with another discount app?

NO! GingFoodies are to required to exclusively use our app, if the restaurant booking was made with us.

Do I need to eat the recommended dishes?

We give our GingFoodies complete freedom on what they should eat. We are simply recommending a dish that the restaurant is known for.

Why do you need my location?

So that our system can match you with restaurants near you.

I can't see any restaurants! What can I do?

There are many reasons:

  1. Have you tried connecting your Instagram account?
  2. You might not have enough friendzone influence to see restaurants.
  3. Your Facebook or Instagram may have inactive followers.
  4. Our restaurants may not be targeting your demographic.
